Chevron Seals V Packing consists of three parts, which are seal ring, support ring, and pressing ring. In general, fabric ring is for high pressure, and the homogeneous ring is for low pressure. Besides, the selection of fabric or homogeneous compounds should be made on the basis of operating pressure, temperature, and the type of gaseous or fluid medium with which the packing must function.
Above all, it is the seal used for piston rod of the tank. Besides, Vee Packing is multiple-lip (chevron) seals comprised of a group of endless rings and are popular for sealing rods and pistons. Generally, they can also suitable in low or high-pressure applications and with single or double acting cylinders.
