PTFE O Ring is mainly used for static sealing application in pipes, cylinders, bushings, stems, flanges and connections. Where chemical and physical inertia, as well as resistance to friction, temperature and ageing, are particularly strategic.
Backup rings are not seals themselves, but are used in conjunction with O-rings or other seals in high-pressure applications. Backup rings are installed in the downstream side of the gland, however, can be installed either side of the O-ring to give a high-performance double-acting seal.
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a high molecular weight polymer, one of the most versatile plastic materials known and useful for a large range of products for applications excluded from other materials. Teflon o-rings are known for high heat resistance, high resistance to chemical agents and solvents, anti-adhesiveness, dielectric properties, low friction coefficient, and non-toxicity.
For over one decade, HONGDA has been a leader in servicing and supplying our customers with only the best quality O-Rings and machined plastics all at competitive pricing. With so many applications across so many industries, it's easy to see why manufacturers turn to PTFE or compounding O-rings when they seek a quality sealing solution.
For axial static face or flange-type applications. Resistant to practically all chemicals and to high temperatures. Available in any required size.
PTFE O-Rings are an ideal solution for sealing applications where there are high temperatures and corrosive liquids or gases involved.
HONGDA offers a wide range of standard, custom and metric sizes produced in Virgin grade and reinforced fillers such as glass, carbon, graphite and bronze. PTFE rings are available up to 600mm OD.
Other polymer seals we offer: PCTFE rings, TFM1600 rings, Filled PTFE rings, PTFE rings and PEEK rings....
