Product Description

                                                                        PCTFE rod, PCTFE sheet, PCTFE Tube and PCTFE rings.

PCTFE  is a homopolymer of chlorotrifluoroethylene and has a structure containing fluorine and chlorine atoms around the main carbon chain. The melting temperature is 213°C and the density is 2.13g/cm3.

Main performance:

1. PCTFE has excellent chemical stability, insulation and weather resistance, can be used for a long time at -196ºC to +125ºC, meanwhile its mechanical strength and hardness are better than PTFE.
2. It has good low temperature resistance, no embrittlement or creep occurs in liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen and liquefied natural gas, and can be used near absolute zero (-273°C) under certain conditions.
3. It has excellent optical properties. The 3mm thick PCTFE sheet is optically transparent.

Application:
PCTFE has excellent low-temperature resistance and can be used to make sealing materials for liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, and liquid fuel. Using the mechanical stability and excellent optical properties of PCTFE, it can be used to make threaded pipes, pipe fittings, transparent mirrors, and optical instruments, etc.. Its excellent electrical properties can be used to make plug-ins and printed circuit boards used in humid environments; it can also be used to make chlorofluorocarbon oils, etc.

With excellent rigidity, low temperature and cold flow resistance, PCTFE (PolyChloroTriFluoroEthylene) is an ideal sealing material under the condition of low temperature and high pressure in enormous high-tech fields.

PCTFE contains 49% fluorine. It has high compressive strength, high hardness, creep resistance, lowest moisture vapor transmission rate and very low gas permeance rate. Infrared, ultraviolet and visible lights can easily penetrate through PCTFE.
